Electronic File Guidelines
In order to ensure that your order is produced quickly and efficiently, it is very important that you attach a copy of the art to any order that is either on disk or e-mailed to us. This will help to determine if the font and graphics look as they should when we open them up in one of our programs.
General Guidelines:
1. Only submit the files which are needed for output. DO NOT SEND THE ONLY COPY.
2. A printout of your final documents should accompany your disk.
3. Avoid using graphics and logos downloaded from the Internet. These are poor quality and generally do not print correctly.
4. All unused colors should be deleted from the file.
5. All spot colors are appropriate color and are not in process format.
6. 4 color graphics, including photos are to be CMYK process, EPS or TIFF format and at a minimum of 300 resolution.
7. We are not able to use GIF, PICT or Picture Viewer Files.
8. Include on the disk ALL SUPPORTING GRAPHIC FILES in an editable format.
9. Include on the disk ALL FONT FILES.
10. Make sure bleeds extend beyond the trim of the document by at least 1/8”.
11. Your document should reflect the actual product size. Either by crop marks or by using the actual trim size.
12. Send your files to instantprint@aol.com
